Abraham Lincoln
Hi, I’m Abraham Lincoln. You should know about me because I was a president who was assassinated.
Before that, I was like signing the . . . . um, what’s it called . . . . Ah, yes, the Emancipation Proclamation. You may also know me because I lost an election. I became president in one election too.
Then the Civil War started. On April 9, 1865, the commander of the Confederate Army surrendered. At last, it was happy again. I went for a ride with my wife to Ford’s Theater. Suddenly, there was a shot, and the next morning I died.
