Brown to Green
I like spring
Because of the mud and the dirt.
I like the ruts,
The dead grass,
The muddy puddles,
The melting snow,
The leafless trees,
And all the BROWN.
Then spring
Creeps, curls, swells, and grows.
Breezes, sun rays.
Trickles, awakens, unfreezes.
Spring zooms, zips, cartwheels,
Rushes, runs, calls!
The river is flowing life.
The sun is just waking up.
Birds are chirping at me in all directions.
It feels like I’m in an observatory
And a jail at the same time.
Zoom-zam-ka-blamo!
Buzz, Ka-boom!
GREEN!
